Brand Experience & Excellence (BEE) is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Developer to join our Growth Consulting team and drive Seller adoption of our Growth and Analytics tools through 1:1 engagements. In this role, you will target and form relationships with existing Sellers and Brands using your sales acumen. You will lean on your deep understanding of Seller Central to navigate Sellers through our tools and own building strategic business plans. You will collaborate with Sellers to identify opportunities to grow their businesses through multiple topics; including, but not limited to, optimizing selection, creating new products based on customer signals, building advertising keyword strategies and other operational improvements. You will collect Seller feedback on our tools to deliver insights to Product team leaders, perpetually improving the Experience of our Sellers.

Key job responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this role possesses a deep understanding of Amazon’s Seller Central and the eCommerce space. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and influencing decision-makers within the senior management and executive teams of some of Amazon’s largest accounts. They are an effective listener, communicator and problem-solver who will consistently balance the needs and requirements of both Amazon and their Sellers. A successful Business Developer is comfortable engaging internal cross-functional teams and leadership at levels above their own. They are a self-starter and will build the necessary paths for exceeding their acquisition and output goals.

About the team

The Growth Consulting Team drives Seller growth by working backwards from Seller business strategies, experiences, and obstacles. Utilizing qualitative and quantitative Seller research, we develop and deploy innovative solutions to drive growth at scale independently and in collaboration with partner teams. Our vision is to empower every Seller with the data, tools, and confidence they need to effectively make decisions that unlock their maximum growth potential on Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of enterprise-class sales experience, preferably in the eCommerce, retail, technology, SaaS, or software industries

BA/BS

Demonstrated proficiency in outbound prospecting or telephone sales qualifying with companies

Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach

Proficient analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Stakeholder Management: has worked with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements

Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tool

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
