The mission of the Quality Lead is to ensure the highest level of product quality and compliance at Chem-Impex. By leading internal audits, maintaining a robust ISO quality system, and partnering with vendors, the Quality Lead safeguards customer trust and supports innovative scientific research worldwide.

What You’ll Do

Be a champion of continuous improvement and create a culture of quality across the organization.

Maintain and implement our quality management system, emphasizing industry best practices.

Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and ISO requirements.

Train and monitor team’s compliance with quality and safety procedures.

Lead and participate in internal and external audits, including managing corrective and preventive actions.

Establish and maintain vendor quality agreements.

Audit and monitor vendors’ performance, including customer service, delivery times, and product quality.

Analyze and report on key quality data and trends to identify areas of improvement.

Manage disposition of aging inventory and run regular materials review board meetings.

Manage and maintain calibration of applicable equipment.

Establish protocols for laboratory practices, including safety, sampling/re-testing inventory, and calibration.

Assist customer service with completing quality-related tickets, issues, documentation, and questions.

Manage overseas team for creating technical documentation such as certificates of analysis and safety data sheets.

Work cross-functionally with other departments to drive quality initiatives throughout the organization.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality management within the chemical industry.

A passion for quality.

Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO quality management systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.
