The Analyst role requires extensive people, communication, project management, and organizational skills, and a high level of quality and accuracy.
Huron|GG+A seeks a detail-oriented Consulting Analyst, Study & Report Analyst to work with a team of consultants in developing and delivering high quality presentations, reports, and other materials to our clients.
This is full-time, hybrid position in our Chicago office (3 days a week onsite)
Qualifications
Some of your responsibilities may include:
Demonstrate Huron’s values
Under the guidance of the senior study and report editor, project directors, consultants, and other colleagues, the analyst reviews studies and reports to ensure all components are properly included, included data is accurate, and objectives of the study or report are addressed. This will involve working across multiple teams and on multiple report projects concurrently.
Participate on client engagements, both in and out of an assigned Practice Area (Higher Education, Arts & Culture, Healthcare/Academic Medicine, Independent Schools) to apply critical thinking and teamwork to enhance the quality of the studies and reports, to ensure data is factually conveyed, supported by data and forms a clear narrative consistent with Huron style requirements.
Ability to work under pressure to meet exacting deadlines – understanding this may require work outside of standard business hours
Perform on- and off-site data collection, project interviews with key client staff and stakeholders, background client research, cohort analysis, comparative data analytics, etc.
Analyze collected client data to formulate initial data charts, findings, and recommendations
Travel & Requirements
Strong professional writing and editing skills, with proficiency in editing complex, specialized, or data-centric content preferred.
Interest in working within Global Philanthropy, including Higher Education institutions, Academic Medical Centers/Hospitals, Non-Profits, Arts & Culture, and Independent Schools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability and willingness and ability to travel occasionally (less than 15% of the time) to client sites
Experience with data analysis and strong experience developing visual depictions of data trend
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Strong performance in your degree of choice with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Bachelor’s Degree
U.S. work authorization required
Exceptional project management & time management skill, familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
