Job Summary:The Vice President of Human Resources Administration is responsible for management responsibilities in the Human Resources department, including benefits administration, human resource information systems, labor negotiations, internal and external reporting, and other related tasks. This role involves handling employee relations in accordance with policies, ethical standards, employment and labor laws, and regulations. The position is data-driven, relying on the achievement of departmental goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Chief Administrative Officer on departmental strategies.Serve as the point person for Union and Labor matters.Ensure efficiency and compliance in all areas of Benefits Administration.Assist the COO with Labor Counsel in developing Union Contracts and ongoing negotiations.Review Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation data/reports.
Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources generalist experience in the non-profit sector, with at least 3 years in senior management. Leadership and organizational development skills are required. A valid and non-restricted driver’s license is also required.
Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
