Business Analysis:Collaborate with Product Owner to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are clearly understood and aligned with project objectives.Create and manage Product Backlog with inputs from Product OwnerCreate User Stories with clear acceptance criteria after conducting detailed analysis of business requirements, systems, and dataTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories with clear acceptance criteria that can be easily understood by the development team.Support Scrum Master in Sprint PlanningAgile Scrum Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between the business and development teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project goals.Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the most critical features are delivered on time.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, project managers, developers, and other business analysts.Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues, and propose solutions to overcome challenges.Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among stakeholders.Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.Develop and deliver reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders, summarizing key findings and recommendations.Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the transportation sector.Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes and tools within the organization.Mentor and coach junior business analysts, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Transportation, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the transportation industry.Strong understanding of transportation processes, systems, and industry regulations.Proven experience working in an Agile Scrum environment, including writing user stories, managing backlogs, and participating in Scrum ceremonies.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite).Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) is a plus.
