Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for producing components by assembling components and subassemblies. This role involves basic electrical wiring, integrating electrical wires into products, and using various hand tools. You will also mount assembled components onto chassis panels, connect component wires to circuits, and install finished assemblies into cases and cabinets. Additionally, you will conduct quality control checks and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Responsibilities
Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Perform basic electrical wiring and integrate electrical wires into products.
Use hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, and press fits.
Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
Connect component wires to circuits and connect wires between individual component leads.
Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
Position or align components and parts.
Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
Conduct quality control checks.
Clean and maintain the work area and equipment, including tools.
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams
