Our client in the food industry is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. As a Quality Manager, you will be part of the Quality department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have critical thinking, proactive approach to risk management, and clear and precise communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
What's the Job?
Direct food safety, quality, and the laboratory function in the plant
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in food safety and quality
Lead plant audit readiness and regulatory inspections
Direct the plant’s HACCP plan in accordance with FDA Regulations and the SQF code
Lead key quality prerequisite and preventative control programs
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in food science, quality, or other related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality
SQF Practitioner required. Familiarity with SQF edition 9 required.
PCQI certified required
HACCP certified required
Knowledge of NOP Organic regulations required
