Global Treasury and Financial Services (GTFS) manages and protects Microsoft’s $140B in financial assets to support the digital transformation journey of Microsoft’s customers, partners & vendors by providing competitive credit and payment solutions to support revenue growth while managing credit risk. This role will lead the management of Microsoft’s Online Banking Program and will own governance for all access management across online banking, PayPal, alternative payments, Merchant Acount Servcies, etc. across 1900+ bank accounts, 500+ subsidiaries and over 85+ key banking partners. This will require an experienced senior treasury manager with a growth mindset and a desire to continually learn and evangelize simplification and standardization. Change management and agility in execution are key for success in this role. Your ability to lean-in and help deploy the best solutions for your function and within the team are critical for on-going success. A successful candidate must have a track record of standardization of treasury processes and proven project management and exceptional communication skills.

The Sr. Treasury Manager will help guide best in class account opening, ensuring policies adherence and regulatory compliance across all bank relationships. The role must adhere to company policies and ensure all Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and financial controls are in place. The candidate may also be involved in ad hoc projects across global treasury operations as needed.

Responsibilities

Manage Microsoft’s online banking security administration program which governs access to global banking portals.

Lead and project manage a wide range of internal and cross organizational projects, engaging appropriate stakeholders and helping the team to hit key milestones.

Support online banking infrastructure for business expansion, such as data centers.

Drive continual improvement to security administration framework, procedures, process, and systems to ensure we have a world-class security environment around our banking portals.

Partner with external banking partners to manage structural simplification, cleaner reporting, and consolidation efforts.

Work with managed service team to ensure key Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets are met and drive high internal customer satisfaction.

Support venture integration and acquisition workstream, using project management skills.

Guide and direct internal Treasury teams and external partners by communicating direction and developing initiatives to support business partners, identifies areas to improve and recommends a course of action; implement and communicate process changes to internal and external business partners.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business AND 5+ years experience with background in treasury, finance, or accounting.

OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) AND 10+ years experience with background in treasury, finance, banking, or accounting.

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Demonstrated and deep understanding of online bank account structures, security administration, controls, and compliance.

Working knowledge of cash management and banking is preferred

Working knowledge of Power Apps is preferred

Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.

Treasury IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
