Job ID: 2657657 | Amazon.com Services LLCThe Global Logistics (GL) Analytics team's vision is to create a centralized data lake across GL to empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and derive insights.We are looking for a Data Engineer with a passion for building systems that have a measurable impact. The right candidate will be innovative and technically versatile, helping build a CI/CD infrastructure for scalable ETL pipelines used for business and operational performance on a daily basis. You will be working with Software Development teams in our organization to create a scalable framework for Data Instrumentation. Additionally, you will provide analytical support to BIEs, PMs, and other data roles. Design and develop data ingestion platforms that can handle large datasets at scale.Key job responsibilities

Manage and administer data platform built on AWS services such as Redshift, Kinesis, S3, Lambda etc.Develop and improve the current data architecture, data quality, monitoring and data availability.Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, simplifying self-service support for customers.Provide technical and thought leadership for Data Engineering and Business Intelligence within Global Mile.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of data engineering experience- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelinesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)- If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we'd still love to hear from you! The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market.
