What you'll do:

The Licensed Nurse Practitioner works as the Senior Member of the Medical Department composed of Nurses and Medical Assistants. Primarily responsible for overseeing the daily activity of the medical department, ensuring adherence to the healthcare guidelines, and implementing safety standards for the youth.

In this role, you will:

+ Oversee the Medical Department operations.

+ Conduct physical evaluations on clients.

+ Provide Medication management for all clients as often as required.

+ Provide Medical and Psychiatric Evaluations for all new clients and as often as necessary for current clients

+ Provide Peer to Peer reviews with insurance companies.

+ Remain in contact with parents, guardians and case workers with regard to medication management.

+ Sign off on all client treatment plans.

+ Review potential client files for appropriateness for acceptance.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Practice.

+ Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Utah..

+ Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a patient-centered approach.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

+ Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office software.

+ Have a desire to work with troubled teens.

+ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
