When we succeed, you succeed and together our best becomes better.HOW AN OFFICE ASSISTANT IV WILL MAKE AN IMPACTSupporting military personnel actions, e.g. reception and integration, performance reports, awards, pay and allowances, reenlistments, retirements, promotions, and staffing of enlisted and officer evaluations; and ensuring all military personnel attend mandatory training.Conducting front desk operations and customer support, to include greeting visitors and managing visitor access within a SAP and SCI facility; understanding and supporting directorate policies and procedures; and receiving customer support questions.Reviewing and processing Defense Travel System (DTS) transactions and credit card applications; for non-DTS travel; review and process travel vouchers.Managing client office space calendars and conference room schedules in SharePoint sites.Independently preparing various types of correspondence to the Government client, external agencies, and services per appropriate correspondence guidelines.Updating and maintaining information contained in databases connected to responsibilities.Attending and participating in various team and workgroup meetings.Inventorying, purchasing, and restocking of office supplies.Supporting the development, documentation, and implementation of procedures, policies, and practices to support efficient execution of all tasks.Conducting other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required Education:
BA/BSRequired Experience:
6 years’ experience performing similar work (years of experience can substitute for a degree) with a minimum of Four (4) years of related experience providing administrative support to a high ops-tempo DoD joint service organization.Required Technical Skills:
Operational experience using Microsoft Office Suite, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS).Security Clearance Level:
Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility (adjudicated within the last 3 years)Required Skills and Abilities:
You must show you have experience in:Independently initiating and drafting correspondence and reports.Maintaining various databases.Staffing correspondence and coordinating with external agencies, such as headquarters, major commands, and agencies within the Pentagon, etc.Training in the production, handling, and tracking of classified materials in written and electronic form.Coordinating special events such as partnering sessions, all-hands meetings (all organizational personnel present), office visits, project site visits to include site access approvals and escort duty.Efficiently, effectively, and professionally interacting with Civilian, Military, and Contractor personnel.Conducting yourself in a professional manner, working in a stressful and fast-paced environment.Demonstrating outstanding communication skills while interfacing daily with senior executives (SES), senior ranking military officers, and other military and civilian personnel internal and external to the organization.Being flexible and adapting to an ever-changing environment.Location:
