This position may be a member of a team that provides support, services, and treatments necessary to provide integrated crisis response, crisis stabilization interventions, and crisis prevention activities or services related to specialized populations that require intensive interventions. Provides oversight and general nursing care and services to persons with behavioral health challenges in the community by performing the duties listed in this job description. Relies on education, skill, and judgment to provide quality services to the people we serve with limited direction and supervision. Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include: Requires a unencumbered Registered Nursing License. For certain behavioral health services additional requirements may apply. Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included: Required to lift 20 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.RHA's Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) offers a full range of support services to people with serious behavioral health needs. ACTT promotes rehabilitation and independence by teaching people coping skills needed to live in their own communities safely and productively, engaging them in normal daily routines and healthy social interactions. People receiving ACTT services often experience significant reductions in crisis situations such as homelessness, incarceration, or repeated hospitalizations.Job ResponsibilitiesFollowing the supports and services as indicated in the recipients Crisis Plan, which is a component of all person centered plansParticipating as member of interdisciplinary team, attending Person Centered Plan (PCP) meetings, developing plans as requestedMonitoring consumers and taking appropriate action for side effects and adverse reactions to medicationsAssisting team members with assessing learning needs of the consumers and carries out teaching as indicatedRequirements:Active RN license. Bachelors of Nursing preferred.Prefer one year of nursing experience.Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.Valid drivers license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage.Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required.Pre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
