QUALIFICATIONS:Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in BioinformaticsEducation in health, agricultural and/or environmental informaticsExperience in proteomics, including performing liquid chromatography/mass spectroscopy (LC/MS) data analysisDeep knowledge and understanding of genomics, next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and analysis, and related applications.Proficiency in Linux / Cloud-based computing and their application to a variety of bioinformatics data analysis situationsFluency in Bioconductor and BiopythonProficiency in using bioinformatics tools and databasesExperience with statistical analysis and data visualizationProficiency in data analytics, data mining, and identifying and monitoring trendsCurriculum Development experience an assetCapacity to commit to the course development over the next 3-5 monthsDUTIES:Act as a Subject Matter Expert and work closely with an Instructional Designer and Program Leader to plan and develop curriculum content for the following courses and related labs:
