Join Gilead and help create possible, together.Job DescriptionThe Senior Director for HIV Prevention Launch Hub Lead will be an essential partner within the HIV Integrated Insights team, reporting directly to the Executive Director, US HIV Integrated Insights. In this strategic role, you will lead the newly established HIV Prevention Launch Hub, a specialized team within US HIV Integrated Insights, which will include three direct reports covering Commercial Analytics, Forecasting, and Primary Market Research. As a trusted analytical thought leader, you will guide the US Brand Team and Cross-Functional partners in generating insights and making recommendations to drive the commercial launch success for HIV Prevention. Your contributions will support decision-making, set priorities, and ensure that commercial strategies are informed by comprehensive data-driven insights.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the HIV Prevention Launch Hub, and be the US HIV Integrated Insights representative on cross-functional and launch readiness workstreams.Foster a high-performing, collaborative environment to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that impact business performance.Integrate data from analytics, forecasting, and primary market research to provide a cohesive view of potential, influence key decisions, and shape commercial strategies.Act as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Director, US HIV Integrated Insights and the HIV Prevention Business Unit stakeholders to identify core business questions, aligning analytics with commercial priorities and providing insights that advance goals and commercial launch success.Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Global Analytics & Insights, US Commercial Finance, and other HIV Business Unit leaders, to ensure alignment and maximize impact across initiatives.Identify and champion opportunities for innovation and efficiency, streamlining business operations and optimizing the technical and analytical capabilities of the Launch Hub.Provide guidance and expertise to direct reports in Commercial Analytics, Forecasting, and Primary Market Research to create a unified vision and strategy driving integrated insights across disciplines.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience, or Master's degree with 12 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 12 years of experience in analytics, insights, or a related field.A strong foundation in analytics, forecasting, and market research, with demonstrated success as a strategic thought partner in pharmaceutical or healthcare settings.Strong prior experience in biotech/pharma US Commercial Launch is required with a foundation of experience in HIV or virology therapy areas desired.Preferred QualificationsProgressive leadership experience within insights, analytics, commercial strategy, or marketing ideally within the biopharma or medtech sectors.Strong grasp of pharmaceutical sales and marketing principles, including product launch and lifecycle management and regulatory considerations.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders at all levels, and collaborate effectively across departments.Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, with the ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with experience in translating research into strategic business insights.Persuasive written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence, resolve conflict and drive consensus among diverse cross-functional stakeholders.Adept at storytelling and presenting complex concepts and data to diverse audiences.People Leadership AccountabilitiesCreate Inclusion

Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
