Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our Core Faculty team in the stunning Mendocino County. This is a rare opportunity to work near the redwoods and Northern Coastline just north of San Francisco in Ukiah, CA. This is an ideal teaching position for someone interested in working with an outstanding team, including family medicine physicians and residents through collaboration with our Rural Family Medicine residency program Adventist Health Ukiah Valley (ahfamilyresidency.org) in Ukiah, CA.Joining a team of highly diverse and exceptional providers who specialize in full-spectrum Family Medicine and Women’s Health.Must be well-trained in outpatient procedures and prenatal care; option for OB with or without C-sections; option for inpatient medicine/ICU.We are seeking to add to our expertise with a physician with focus on diverse vulnerable population care needs.Appointment as a UC-Davis volunteer clinical faculty memberCandidates must demonstrate passion for community health, dedication to family medicine education, and excellent clinical and communication skills. As a member of a newly accredited UC Davis-affiliated program, Core Faculty will participate in the curriculum development of our program in addition to providing high-quality teaching and resident mentorship. Core Faculty members are expected to maintain a clinical practice as well as supervise family medicine residents.About Our ResidencyAdventist Health Ukiah Valley Family Medicine Residency Program was established in 2019 to address the rural health crisis and create full-spectrum family physicians who are well trained to take on the needs of their communities. Unopposed as the only residency program in our county, residents have individualized training at our rural sites and actively participate in local community projects. Our new emergency department operates with a physician on duty 24- hours a day and is designated as a level IV trauma center.
