Palliative Care Physician - MedStar Washington Hospital Center

MedStar Health is looking for an attending physician to join our large inpatient Palliative Care team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This is the largest team in our system with nearly 23 inter-disciplinary clinicians (MD/APP/social work/rx/chaplain/RN). We have inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth Palliative Care at this site, and this role will be primarily inpatient. This site also houses our academic programs, with a dedicated program director in place, including MD/APP/SW fellowships.
This role will include obtaining faculty appointment at Georgetown University.

About our Palliative Care Teams:
Our nearly 100 clinicians work in interdisciplinary teams across our nine acute care hospitals.
Our inter-disciplinary teams are comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, RNs, social workers, clinical pharmacists, chaplains and administrative roles.
Our Unique System-wide Approach includes:
