Position Summary
The Mom's Meals Summer Internship Program is a paid project-based 12-week program beginning May 19, 2025, and ending August 8, 2025. Our internship program provides interns with the training, coaching, and hands on experience to be successful professionals in their chosen fields. Our internship assignments focus on practical, value-added projects that help create a connection between what is learned in the classroom and what is required in the manufacturing and healthcare sectors.This can be a hybrid position but must be local to the Des Moines, IA area to work onsite three days/week.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
Assist and collaborate with Mom’s Meals design team to design and develop various forms of media for use in digital or print formatsAssist with photography and video shootsWork with all members of the Marketing team and provide creative input on projectsMaintain Mom’s Meals brand style guidelinesRequired Skills and Experience
Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fieldExperience with Adobe Creative SuiteBasic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentalsStrong creative and analytical skillsExcellent eye for detailAbility to take initiative, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong desire to learn along with professional driveRepetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersSedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periodsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusCompany OverviewMom’s Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 25 years. We provide seniors, patients recovering post-discharge and those managing a chronic condition with tailored nutrition solutions to manage their specific needs.
