Mechanical Designer
to join our team for a
6+ month onsite contract . In this role, you'll develop engineering changes and detailed design documentation for complex equipment. You'll apply engineering principles and creativity to create innovative solutions and ensure the highest quality in design.Position Summary:Working under general supervision, you will:Develop and prepare complex
engineering drawings and CAD models
with minimal instruction, applying independent design judgement.Create and manage
product structures
within
PDM systems
and perform tolerance studies to ensure equipment functionality.Check drawings from other team members for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to design standards.Apply expertise in
manufacturing processes ,
production operations , and
maintenance practices
to create reliable, high-quality designs.Ensure designs meet
reliability, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) , and
quality standards .Key Qualifications:7+ years
of experience with
SolidWorks
and
AutoCAD
in a
manufacturing setting .Strong experience with
PDM systems
and proficiency in conducting
tolerance studies
on tools for equipment functionality.Demonstrated ability to review and check design documentation for accuracy and completeness.Experience with
quality analysis techniques
in design documentation.Education:High School Diploma or GED
required.Associate's Degree
