The Help Desk, Tier 2 is responsible for providing advanced technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This position responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions. Gain insights into day-to-day activities through analysis of reports and logs.ResponsibilitiesProvide phone and desk-side in-person supportResolve level two issues/problems and escalate issues to other IT staff when necessaryProvide guidance training and documented processes to other HelpDesk membersCreate and maintain support documentation and proceduresFollow run book procedures when responding to incidentsSupport inventory and asset management processParticipate in the on-call weekly rotation outside for after hours supportAssist with onboarding and set up of new users; provide training on IT policies, PCs, phones, loginsParticipate in projects as needed and adhere to project plansTechnical SkillsMicrosoft Windows 10/11Solid networking skills/knowledgeOffice 365Some MacOS is a plusMobile phone (Android/iOS)Jira/ConfluenceVPN (client-side)Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issuesCustomer-oriented and service-mindedInstall, configure, and maintain various software applicationsDevelop scripts for automation tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProvide Support for video and collaborations issuesExperience3-4 years of IT Support and/or Help Desk experience preferredWhat Makes Us Famous!
