Position Overview:The role of Network Architect involves providing networking solutions and oversight for legacy telco services, including broadband, cloud networking, and wireless services. Key responsibilities include managing broadband circuit portfolios, supporting data networking from planning to operations, overseeing wireless MDM configurations, and resolving customer escalations, with experience in ITIL, vendor management, and tools like Thousand Eyes highly valued.
Duties:
Extensive knowledge and experience with Data and Network Monitoring technologies, standards, and practices for management of the broadband circuit portfolio.Ability to assist with the Data Networking services lifecycle from strategic planning to operations and financials; from a broadband circuit perspective.Wireless mobile phone and Data Networking expertise required to specify business requirements for current & future services.Ability to perform Voice and Data Networking technology and operational assessments to manage the legacy portfolio/tech debt to create future roadmaps.Experience with wireless Intune MDM for configuration of wireless settings for devicesExperience in managing general technology incidents and leading them to resolution.Understands best practices in service management including contract and vendor management in an outsourcing or shared serviceRequired Skills:
3 years of knowledge of and experience with data and network monitoring technology3 years of network expertise required to specify business requirements for current and future network services3 years of experience with networking incident management3 years of experience responding to and resolving customer escalations3 years of experience with commercial broadband circuits (i.e. Comcast, etc.)Preferred Skills:
