Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Level I trauma experience, teaching hospital, ICU, and pediatrics experience. Adult and PEDS experience preferred. License: Rhode Island license required, must be obtained in hand within 4-5 weeks. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred Must-Have: - COVID vaccine, booster, and flu vaccine required. Medical declination accepted only for booster and flu. No religious declinations accepted. - Pediatric experience preferred. Job Description: - Provide respiratory care in a hospital setting, particularly in ICU and with pediatric patients. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess and implement patient care plans. - Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. - Participate in the orientation process as required. - Work effectively under the direction of senior medical staff. - Maintain accurate medical records of patient care activities. - Demonstrate the ability to manage critical situations in a Level I trauma center environment.
