Job ScopeThis role is primarily responsible for the overall administration of the Oracle Hyperion Financial Close Manager Application Suite. Oracle Hyperion Financial Close Management (FCM) includes two modules: Close Manager (CM) and Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM).The successful candidate will possess

A strong technical background,Combined with strong accounting knowledge relating to the close process and reconciliation of general ledger to sub ledger.

This combined knowledge and experience will be utilized in assessing the business needs, creating, maintaining and managing objects in Hyperion Close Management (FCM) Suite.In addition, this role will be responsible for communicating to all applicable stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with technology-based internal controls and other governance policies, process improvement, and providing issue resolution.Job ResponsibilitiesManage the day to day administration of the FCM SuiteAssure compliance with the proper policies, procedures, and controls within FCM Suite and related processesOversee timely support and issue resolution, most critically during the accounting close cycleResearch and recommend actions to solve FCM Suite issuesIdentify, communicate, and champion process improvement opportunities, while facilitating the use of FCM Suite for close process improvementSupport analysis and business case development for FCM Suite improvement opportunitiesFacilitate effective communication to report status of critical interactions with other groups and stakeholdersMaintain system and process design standards across the enterprise and maintain FCM Suite system documentationAssist in the creation of training materials and delivery for usersMaintain FCM Suite templates, calendars, task, binders, reports, and dashboards as business requirements changeAssist in the analysis, design, and development of new reports and system enhancements, as requiredJob-Specific Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related fieldMust have a solid understanding of the financial close and consolidation processMust have a minimum of one year full-time project or support experience with Hyperion FCM Suite and processesPrefer a minimum of three to five years of professional experience in accounting or accounting supportPrefer a minimum of one to three years of FCM business analyst/financial system administrator experienceExperience with financial process improvement, global consolidation and/or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) financial implementations preferredExperience with visual basic and SQL preferredStrong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills to successfully develop support and engagement from various usersAbility to work independently to handle multiple priorities, while working under time constraints to meet deadlinesSolid Microsoft Office skillsAbility to challenge the status quo and take ownership of the administration responsibilitiesExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
