Hiring: Physical Warehouse Work

Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. This general warehouse position involves picking tires to prepare for shipping, putting away truck loads, and operating various equipment. Candidates must be willing to cross-train in multiple areas and adapt to a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
Pick tires and prepare them for shipping.
Unload and put away truck loads.
Pull tires off pallets, scan DOT information, and place them on a conveyor belt.
Operate a cherry picker to pick tires and move pallets (after several months).
Work in various areas including Customer Pick Up, Shipping, Mount and Balance, and shrink wrapping.
Ensure flexibility and willingness to cross-train in all areas.
Essential Skills
Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a warehouse.
6+ months of experience in roles such as warehouse, moving company, furniture installation, or order picking.
Ability to be flexible with work hours and stay until the work is completed, especially during peak seasons.
Capability to lift 60 pounds at least 3 times per day, with most picks being 20-30 pounds.
Proficiency with warehouse tools such as RF scanners and order pickers.

Work Environment
Our warehouse is extremely clean, well-lit, and spans 139,000 square feet. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans, t-shirts or sweatshirts, and tennis shoes—no steel-toed shoes required. The standard hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour-long unpaid lunch break. During peak seasons, candidates should be prepared to work until 8:00 PM and expect 50-60 hour work weeks. We currently have about 15 full-time employees on the first shift and aim to increase to around 22 full-time staff before the busy season in October.
