We are looking for a Data Analyst who will support our product, sales, leadership, and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to answer questions and provide insight into the business. They must have experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, and building and implementing visual displays and dashboards. They should have a proven ability to be part of a data development team and offer database insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. Responsibilities: • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies. • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data-gathering techniques. • Coordinate with different functional teams to analyze trends and identify changes in the business. Develop dashboards to monitor outcomes. • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze data and data accuracy. • Work with a team to improve and develop data marts. • Update and maintain management reports. • Identify and design new reports. • Assist in the evaluation of tools to mine, analyze, and display data. • Review required insurance data calls. • Assist with data requirements for annual reinsurance submission. Qualifications: • Experience with Snowflake preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Experience using data analytics tools such as R, Python, SLQ, etc. to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. • Experience working with and creating data architectures. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams. • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. • We’re looking for someone with 2-7 years of experience manipulating data sets and analyzing data outcomes. A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field and is familiar with the following: experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SLQ, etc. • Experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers: Google Analytics, US census data, and insurance-specific data providers. • Experience with different data tools such as mapping software, MySQL, PowerBi, etc. • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using PowerBI, Excel, mapping tools, PowerPoint, etc. • Property & Casualty Insurance Experience. Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 yearly BOE

Compensation:$90,000-$130,000 per year
