Social Media Content Creator - Specialist IIJob Description:
This role is responsible for assisting the Social Media Manager in the concepting and crafting of innovative and strategically driven social-first content including posts, reels, stories, videos, etc. for both organic and paid social across multiple platforms.As part of the Social Media in-house team, this individual stays informed about new Social Media trends and serves as a channel expert and primary resource for all social media best practices and content with a sincere interest in food and passion for social. They will bring a robust creative energy with proven talent ( as showcased in an online portfolio and existing social handles)
that will bring fresh, forward-thinking content across all social platforms with an emphasis on growing our organic content and channel engagement. The Content Creator(s) will be responsible for the development and execution of all social assets including but not limited to multi-format concepts, product and prop placement, content capture, on-set assistance, and design execution.Responsibilities:Responsible for the execution of the social strategy as outlined by the Social Media Manager and Creative DirectorConcept social-first content for Brand Story, Tier 1, Tier 2 and other marketing calendar activationsProduce all aspects of content from filming in-market to video editing to recording voiceovers and creating aesthetically pleasing creative content that drives engagement and likeabilityWrite engaging, social-first copy leveraging collaboration with Sr. Copywriter and agency partners as neededDevelop breakthrough content and communicate our brand message in a fresh, forward-thinking, platform-specific way across all social media channels, in accordance with Giant's brand strategy, visual guidelines, and tone of voice.Keep current with trends across social media, e.g., viral products, editing styles, content types, and concept unique, breakthrough takes on those trends that engage our audience and drive sales in-store and online.Stays up to date with the latest technology and design trends for creative execution and conceptualization of artwork inclusive of AI advancements and other leading industry tools in marketDevelop best-in-class channel plans inclusive of strategy support, objectives and messaging for individual campaigns as scheduled according to the commercial calendar.Create, Organize, and maintain the content calendar on a daily/weekly basis in support of the social strategyResearch, negotiate, and offer partnerships with preferred influencers and execute content through creative briefsExecute requests in a timely and accurate manner, integrating business requests within the strategy and content calendar where appropriateFacilitate effective communication and collaborate with agencies, creative manager, media manager, copywriter(s), producers, photographers, digital channel stakeholders, brand strategy, and project management teams to effectively meet project objectives, schedules, and deadlines.Proactively understand business needs and marketing requirements to devise strong branded assets and content that's relevant and authentic to each channel.Receive constructive, business-driven feedback and adapt creative accordingly and in a timely manner.Able to identify and pro-actively mitigate any concerns that may compromise the integrity of the brand, consumer representation, or customer experienceResponsible for gaining alignment and approval of plans with the Social Media ManagerBuilds timelines and ensures that all key project deadlines and milestones are metAttend PR, community, retail, and other events to capture social media content as needed.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Media, Communications, or related field2-5 years of related work experienceCreative Examples Required.
Online portfolio and/or links to own social media accounts showcasing examples of relevant content including videos, dynamic posts/reels, trendy content and likeabilityRobust knowledge of platform algorithms and hashtag strategies for multiple platformsProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteAdvanced skills in photography/video capture & editing (software and iphone)Proficient understanding of design principles and typographySkilled at calendar building and content management.Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with key business partners in a fast-paced environmentProactive approach to problem solving with strong time management and attention to detailsCreative thinking, strong organizational skills, and hyper attention to detailAbility to work autonomously.Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to deliver presentations in a clear & concise mannerWorking knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects is a plusOccasional nights and weekend needs based on event schedulesLocal travel required
