The Information Technology team plays an integral role in the organization's success, adding value through technology while providing secure, reliable technology platforms. Enterprise Architecture within FTI will set a strategic framework with alignment to business strategy, processes, information, and technology to enable its underlying goals. This role will collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and IT teams to design and optimize our enterprise systems and applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Must be trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence stakeholders. Skilled at guiding and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making. Able to set long-term strategic and short-term tactical approaches based on situation. Able to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architectures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years overall experience with 2+ years as an Enterprise Application Architect or a similar role with a focus on large scale projects and initiatives. Experience with ERP & PDM software. Master's degree desired but not required.
Travel: Less than 20% per year
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManages the definition, implementation, and maintenance of an Enterprise Architecture framework.Establishes and supports architecture processes including patterns, diagrams, roadmaps, and business capability maps.Provides technical leadership to the design, development, and implementation of modern technology.Leads FTI's Architecture Review Board process while reporting out to stakeholders.Drives Application Portfolio Management and Rationalization efforts by leveraging ServiceNow technology.Co-leads cloud modernization efforts through partnering with FTI Solutions Architects.Establishes cloud architectures within Azure & GCP as part of a cloud governance committee.Architects cloud native applications within a multi-cloud environment.Provides guidance on security, privacy, data management, and regulatory compliance.Conducts proofs of concept and pilot efforts to assess feasibility while defining benefits.Leads RFP efforts and provide recommended technology solutions that meet business objectives.Develops and establishes technical and business process metrics to measure results.Creates and presents position papers on relevant technology.Provides leadership to team members in the use of monolithic and microservice architectures.Supports Product Managers and processes associated with current product designs and new product introduction.Mentors team members through the use of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and patterns.Stays well educated on architecture and application trends within the industry.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
