SUMMARY:This position will be assigned projects to initiate and implement which will control plant costs and maximize labor resource effectiveness; will gain exposure to developing and maintaining engineering labor standards; learn to use continuous improvement tools to achieve plant goals. Other duties may include assisting in the implementation of automation, providing information for managerial decision making, and any other responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university. Students seeking a degree Industrial Engineering or other technical degree are preferred with at least one year of school remaining.
Experience: Must be a Junior or Senior in a full-time undergraduate program.
Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, knowledge and exposure to engineering related computer systems. Must be proficient in MS office.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: May travel 3 to 4 trips to a Tyson facility.
