Title: MedSSI: IT Manager / Network Specialist Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR PROGRAM SUMMARY: The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East. POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Manager supports the acquisition of standard hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed and is recognized as an external (Industry) thought leader within a strategic family or discipline. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within a function. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers and professional staff. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures. Participates in business development pursuits by providing full functional and technical solutions to complex program requirements for fast turn start-ups. Supports and oversees sub-departmental daily functions in Asset Management, IT wired/wireless Infrastructure and Operations, Knowledge Content Management, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Communications, CCTV, Reprographics, and SATCOM deployment and operations. Provides 24/7 tier III technical support to a diverse staff and user population in remote locations throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East. Conducts project risks assessments and renders status reports to the Sr. Management and Executive leadership. Utilizes key policies, procedures, technical standards, and operational priorities. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree (preferred not required) and 9 years of IT experience Must have 4 years IT Management experience Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U. S. Driver's License. Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements. Must currently possess or be able to obtain prior to being hired as is required for this position a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT). Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance or certification level for the duration of the task order. ?
