SCADA Engineering Manager

**Position Overview: **In this role, you will utilize your technical and project management skills to oversee the design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of SCADA, PPC, and IT systems for renewable energy projects. You will also support compliance testing and operational troubleshooting.**Key Skills:**- Extensive knowledge of control systems for Wind, Solar PV, and BESS, including power system fundamentals (voltage drop, power factor, etc.).- Experience with SEL RTAC or similar control devices.- Understanding of power plant control systems and control theory.- Familiarity with IT/OT network design, including fiber/ethernet and VLAN configuration.- Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (microwave, satellite).- Understanding of network security protocols and cybersecurity standards.- Experience with programming substation relays (e.g., GE, SEL).- Knowledge of OPC, Modbus, SEL, EtherNet/IP, and DNP3 protocols.- Ability to interpret regulations from NERC, ERCOT, WECC, CAISO, SPP, PJM, and MISO.- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in technical documentation.**Requirements:**- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, control systems engineering, or a related field.- 2-4 years of commissioning experience in Utility Scale Wind, Solar PV, or Battery Energy Storage projects, with integration experience required.- 3-5 years of applied experience in electrical utility SCADA systems, substation controls, or industrial automation in a critical operations environment.
