A Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, full-time Dedicated CDL-A Yard Jockey/Driver in North Haven, CT.You will be maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed.
Start Time: 6:00 PM start , Sunday to Thursday
Pay Rate:
$27.00 per hour; OT after 45 hours

The responsibilities of the position include, but
are
not limited to:
Start each day making a delivery, then do jockey movesMoving trailers around the terminal to various locationsManeuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positionsVisually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving eachConnecting tractors to trailersAssisting with the unloading and loading of freight as neededMaintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shiftTo be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
Class A CDLMinimum 1 year of recent CDL-A experience, van type trailer preferredPrevious Jockey or Switcher experience (preferred)Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical cardMust be at least 21 years of age or olderNo more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to reviewAbility to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearanceBenefits of Pyle:
