Cybersecurity Analyst
We are seeking a Cloud Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have at experience in cybersecurity threat detection and response, strong analytical skills, and an initiative-taking approach to identifying and mitigating potential threats.
What You Will Do:Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Develop additional cybersecurity monitoring tools, strategies, and use cases to advance threat detection capabilities in cloud environments.Respond to and investigate cloud security alerts and incidents.Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to ensure secure cloud architecture and application design.Stay up to date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies.What You Have:
Cybersecurity Standards and Policies:
Knowledge of developing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures; ability to develop and communicate policies, standards and procedures that guide interactions with customers.
Level Basic Understanding:
Collects documentation and information on standards and their usage.Describes and follows all policies, standards, and procedures.Discusses the relevance of standards and policies for an OT environment.Describes expected benefits of effective organizational cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.Cyber Security:
Knowledge of network attacks and the defenses used; ability to defend and prevent electronic threats, theft, and attacks.
Level Working Knowledge:
Recognizes current technologies and practices for detecting and analyzing new threats.Research cloud, server, and network systems and how they are affected by cyber-attacks.Describes specific threats and current and planned preventive measures and solutions.Summarizes the types of information or artifacts needed for investigating cyber breaches.Participates in the evaluation of potential threats, assessing their likelihood and creating safeguardsEducation / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Top Candidates will also have:
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).Experience with threat detection and incident response in a large, global corporation.Experience using security tools and technologies such as EDR and SIEM.Proven experience developing new cybersecurity solutions such as applications, dashboards, automation through Python scripting, and models for threat intelligence.Experience in cloud security, with some understanding of one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Any professional Cloud certifications.Any Cybersecurity certifications from SANS or ISC2.Additional Info :
