Artera works with health organizations across the country that have hundreds of integrated systems, complex data requirements, and a need to consolidate relevant data into the Artera platform.

Artera is looking for a talented Solutions / Sales Engineer to join the team. You will work directly alongside a team of Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success Executives under the direction of our Manager, Sales Engineering. We are looking for a Sales Engineer who enjoys giving compelling product demonstrations, exploring new customer use cases, and leveraging our product to meet diverse customer business needs.

ResponsibilitiesRun in-depth product demonstrations for a diverse customer and Prospect base.Be a product expert for the sales process - providing solutions for the Prospect's stated business goals using product functionality. This includes providing solutions for existing customers who are looking to add new use cases to their Artera deployment.Lead technical discovery with customers to align customer use cases with integrated solutions.Be an integration expert for the sales process - understand the relevant architecture of a Prospect's systems and how they can integrate into the Artera platform. Collaborate with the Innovation and Engineering teams to generate integration feature ideas.Coordinate and complete Request for Proposals, Request for Information, and Security Questionnaires for Enterprise Prospects.Effectively communicate complex technical concepts with Prospects in non-technical and simple language.Utilize creative problem solving to accommodate complex customer workflows with integrated solutioning across a variety of healthcare partners and vendors.Scope and evaluate the feasibility of Prospect asks, particularly as they relate to integrating with 3rd party data sources.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM preferred **additional experience in lieu of a degree is also accepted**4+ years of relevant work experience (healthcare and/or sales experience)Previous direct clinical experience (previous nursing experience highly preferred)Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skillsAbility to conduct technical discovery with prospects and clientsComfortable with frequent change and knows how to operate in a fast-moving, dynamic environment; able to navigate through ambiguityAbility to travel up to 25% as neededMust be able to work standard business hours M-F in PDT30/60/90 Day Expectations

$90,000 - $110,000 a year

The compensation for this role will be based on level of experience and the geographic tier in which you are located. This position also comes with equity and a variety of benefits.

Tier 1 Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 base + variable

Non-Tier 1 Salary: $90,000 - $96,750 base + variable

LOCATION

Artera values in-person collaboration and is currently hiring in the following US cities: Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Kansas City, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Boston, and Philadelphia (Wayne).

Artera HQ is in Santa Barbara, CA, with an additional US office located in Philadelphia (Wayne), PA. If you live in the Santa Barbara or Philadelphia area, your role will be hybrid, and you will be expected to work out of your designated office location regularly, following local office guidelines. While three days a week may be a general guideline, the specific requirement will be set regionally based on the needs of the local office and the role.

If you live in one of our other hubs, your role will be remote to start. As our team continues to grow in these cities, Artera will explore opening offices in these locations,

but there is currently no timeline in place for that . Once that happens, in-office attendance will similarly follow regional expectations, with flexibility to align with the local office's norms and the specific job requirements.
