Develops and implements creative dispute resolution strategies.
Manages outside counsel to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Manages all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation advice through trial and appeal.
Collaborates closely with others provide legal counsel on a broad range of items including, employee relations, M&A, real estate transactions, leases, claims (bond, insurance, payment/non-payment, bankruptcy) etc.
Assists project teams in requesting time extensions and associated financial compensation, from notice, to schedule analysis, to cost quantification, to presentation in front of finder of fact.
Reviews, drafts and negotiates contracts and labor agreements.
Addresses subpoenas and discovery requests.
Reviews and consults on prequalification submittals.
Prepares witnesses for testimony.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5 years of experienceConstruction experience preferredAdmission to a State BarLitigation experience preferred
