If you have a passion for people, a desire to problem-solve,and eagerness to pursue continuous improvement opportunities… we look forward to exploringcareer possibilities with you!Job DescriptionDevelop, administer, and conduct training and safety programs and activities for associates and ensure all processes are documented to meet company, regulatory, ISO and corporate requirements.• Provide technical writing resources to ensure accurate Work Instructions are developed and maintained for all processes• Ensure associates are trained on individual job functions and training is documented• Ensure all regulatory and customer safety requirements are incorporated into company policies and associates are appropriately trained• Develop and conduct initial new associate and refresher programs to ensure all company, customer, and regulatory requirements are met• Develop, coordinate, and/or conduct job-specific and process training programs to ensure associates are trained on their job functions• Coordinate and direct writing assignments of Technical Writers assigned to document processes• Develop site-level Trainers and Technical Writers by conducting “Train-the-Trainer” and “Train-the-Writer” classes as well as providing continuous coaching and mentoring• Administer Site Safety Program including development of safety procedures, auditing for compliance, and advising management staff of safety concerns• Provide advisory capacity to Site Safety Committee to identify safety concerns and provide recommendations for continuous improvement• Identify Training/Writing staffing needs, interview candidates, and develop staff members to ensure an effective team and training and documentation needs are met• Coordinate and/or conduct corporate sponsored training programs for site personnel• Document system processes in manual• Manage procedure development and ensure document control standards are in place and maintained to support ISO and Management of Change Systems• Work closely with Customer Representatives, Operations, Inventory Control, and Customer Service to ensure processes are accurate, documented, and changes are made and communicated in accordance with local Management of Change Systems• Develop flexible training schedules to meet special requests and business requirements• Participate on Quest Workshops as requested to improve productivity and resolve process issues• Perform other duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, preferred• 1-3 years logistics or manufacturing industry, preferred• 1-3 years experience in lead, supervisor or management role, requiredOur Organization has a business casual environment and focuses on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.
