Insight Global is looking for a Network Admin to join one of our clients in Fallon, NV. This role is onsite. The Network Administrator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting network connectivity and infrastructure on the client's networks. The candidate will support the operation and maintenance on multiple networks spanning different classification levels and ensures continuous network connectivity to customers and sites. This position will be in the Enterprise Network Operations and Security Center (ENOSC). The ENOSC functions as the centralized focal point for network operations and maintenance of the global training networks. This includes overseeing and troubleshooting WAN circuits, equipment failures, router and switch configurations, firewall access control lists, VoIP device registrations and configuration, and cryptographic device configurations in coordination with the Navy, DISA, commercial providers and Joint Partners.Compensation: $48/hr to $57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Active secret clearance4- 7 years of network operations and support experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 9 plus year of network operations experience and support without a degreeSecurity+ or equivalent certification requiredExperience in installing and troubleshooting WAN and LAN network equipment and circuitsExperience in monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting ASA firewall ACLsAbility to troubleshoot network issues at the protocol/packet level using sniffers, protocol analyzers, NetFlow, logging, etc.Technical network troubleshooting and critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues within multiple systemsKnowledge of Cisco Internetworking including IP addressing (subnets, CIDR), switching (VTP, VLANs, 802.1q, etc..) and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, PIM, multicast, etc.) and Cisco IOSKnowledge of IP networking fundamentals, OSI model, and frame/packet structureExperience in a network operations center environment including help desk, customer communication, trouble ticketing, and issue resolutionExperience with Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation GuidelinesExperience with network and performance monitoring tools (SolarWinds, etc.)Experience in network security technologies including firewalls, VRFs, and port-security/802.1xFamiliarity with Cisco VoIP, including PoE switches and Call ManagerExperience with NSA Type 1 cryptographic devices and keymat particularly KG-175D and KG-75Must be willing to work periodic shifted schedules include evening, night, and weekend
