The Respiratory Therapist RRT is responsible for performing all Respiratory Care procedures in the general and critical care settings.Qualifications
High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).Current BLS certification.Current ACLS certification.(RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist verified through NBRC.Assignment to the ER or Pedi must have current PALS.Assignment to the NICU must have current NRP.
