Accounting Supervisor Responsibilities:Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvementOversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger functionsManage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights to senior management to support decision-makingPrepare financial reports, produce activity statements and monitor accountsIdentify and analyze opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency and improvement
Accounting Supervisor Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field4+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior experience within a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of cost or project accountingProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailProven leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and develop a teamEffective communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
