Basic Job Functions:

Perform administrative duties at a basic operational level to support functions necessary for the operation of the Facility

  • Must adhere to Nucor’s safety programs and standards.
  • Demonstrate conduct consistently with Nucor’s vision and values
  • Answering phones and general office administration functions.
  • Communicate/distribute all pertinent Nucor information to location Teammates.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with regards to Nucor business and Teammate information
  • Receiving visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately
  • Receive/sorting daily mail
  • Assist office security
  • Update calendars/meeting rooms, order office supplies and keep inventory stocked
  • Develop exceptional working relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Prepare Teammate badges and record necessary paperwork.
  • Assisting the sales department in preparing for Customer visits and tours
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

  • Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment
  • Lifting/handling computers and related equipment and office supplies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation
  • Experience working in an office setting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two-year degree from an accredited school or college
  • Prior experience in office setting
