They must possess a current NH Respiratory Care Practitioner license which also requires them to be a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist and possess a current BLS certification.JOB SUMMARYDrawing and analysis of arterial blood gases, patient assessment, Therapist Driven Protocols continuous mechanical ventilator management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, chest physical therapy, oxygen administration, hyperinflation therapy, aerosol therapy, and screening Pulmonary function studies, performance of emergency procedures, CPR certification, teamwork, maintaining keen interest in latest trends, pulse oxymetry, changing equipment (and if applicable charge duties- to include work distribution prioritizing workload for staff, presentation of one topic per year to the Respiratory Therapy staff).
