As an
Interior Designer
at DLR Group you will be working as part of integrated design teams responsible for the design and delivery processes aligned with client goals, budgets and schedule parameters.
Join our team and play a key role in designing complex projects from schematic design to construction administration. You'll develop comprehensive material and finish palettes, and collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members to prepare detailed specifications.

What you will do:
Demonstrate a strong ability in conceptual design, program development and applies space planning expertise.Have a strong foundation of comprehensive design and technical skillsets including creative design and drawing skills, graphic and oral design presentation skills, capacity for conceptual design thinking, and 3D design/modeling abilityPossess a holistic design acumen that addresses the 3-dimensional space; from functionality, alignment with programmatic needs and how materials, volumes and the performance of the space all comes togetherBe responsible for applying DLR Group practice standards to project deliverables across the project team.Actively leads collaboration at project and integrated team level by generating design ideas and solutions.Effectively communicates with project team members through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual meansPrepare and develop with the team, as required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the designTake responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Principal in Charge and/or the Design Leader for key project stagesHave strong client and time management skillsPossess excellent written and oral communication skillsMeets deliverable deadlines to maintain overall project schedule.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design5 - 8 years of experience designing
Workplace
interior projectsProficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office suite and Designer Pages Pro.3D Visualizing Software: Enscape, Sketch Up, and Lumion Render and knowledge of BluebeamAbility to work both independently and effectively in cross-disciplinary teams and across multiple officesAbility to travel occasionally to support project tasks.Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications
LicensureLEED AP and/or other green certificationsInterest in Sustainability Design

$80,000-$100,000 USD
