Referral Specialist

This position is Monday -- Friday, no call, holidays or weekends. Job Summary

The Referral Specialist is responsible for ensuring all daily authorizations are obtained by coordinating and monitoring work queues. This role will identify STATS and problematic authorizations prior to procedure/surgery dates to avoid denials. This position requires excellent customer service to OrthoVirginia staff, physicians and patients, as well as the ability to listen, process, and communicate clearly and effectively.

4 years insurance verification and precertification experienceStrong customer service skills and focusHigh school diploma or equivalentSome college preferred
