Job Title Assistant/Associate Professor - Acute Care Surgeon Department Surgery - 31570 Pay Grade 1 Job Category College of Medicine Faculty Job SummaryThe Department of Surgery invites applications for two board-certified/eligible Acute Care Surgeons to join our team in a dynamic academic clinical-track position as Assistant/Associate Professors. Successful candidates will play a vital role in our Level 1 trauma and acute care surgical center, as well as our Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
Clinical responsibilities will encompass comprehensive trauma patient care, ICU management, and general emergency surgery. A key aspect of this position is the opportunity to educate and mentor general surgery residents and medical students, fostering the next generation of surgical professionals. Join us in advancing surgical excellence and enhancing patient outcomes in a collaborative and supportive environment.
*This position is contingent upon outside funding.
