Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Rehab Medicine division is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join our hand therapy team. In this role, you will focus on providing exceptional care to patients in need of rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting.
You will work alongside a team of dynamic and talented therapists, utilizing your skills to help patients recover from a variety of injuries, surgeries, or sports-related conditions. Whether guiding individuals towards regaining their functional independence or assisting athletes in returning to peak performance, you will play a vital role in their rehabilitation journey.
As part of a large academic medical center, you will collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized care for each patient. Additionally, our clinicians have the unique opportunity to participate in team-based integrative care in a variety of interdisciplinary settings, including Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinics.

This is for a full-time, benefited, outpatient occupational therapy position with emphasis in hand therapy.
Responsibilities
Evaluates, diagnoses, determines prognosis, and provides high quality, personalized and evidence-based interventions for patients.Reports findings to other health care team members through strong communication skills and use of electronic documentation and billing within Epic EMR.Participates in and supports in-house education, student programs, volunteer/observation, and community outreach programs, educating referring providers including residents and fellows.Works with a coordinated team of providers to provide comprehensive care for patients.Determines and implements annual plan for professional development.Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy requiredCHT preferredRequired Licensure/Certifications
