Clinician
Inspire Georgia
The Clinician is responsible for conducting behavioral health assessments and providing ongoing clinical services to minors. This person provides weekly individual and group therapy sessions to each minor to address identified needs and to help minors to adapt to their new environment and to develop/improve their social skills. The Clinician also maintains accurate and current documentation of service provision in each UAC case file, while ensuring compliance with ORR and agency documentation and reporting requirements.
Position Details:Full Time employee, eligible for benefitsDepartment - Children and Family ServicesParticipates in meetings to review risk and behavioral health assessments to evaluate child and sponsor participation, progress, safety, and individualized plans.Reports to Inspire Georgia Program DirectorLocated in Atlanta, GAMostly Virtual/Remote with some on-site required; on-call as needed; Travel (0 - 25%)Monday through Friday; 8:30AM - 5:00PMAnnual Compensation is $68,000/annum.Responsibilities:
Completes initial clinical intake risk and behavioral health assessments.Completes human trafficking and gang violence affiliation/exposure screenings.Maintain accurate, and current documentation of service provision in each UAC case file, while ensuring compliance with ORR and agency documentation and reporting requirements.Reviews medication, religious and activity logs to ensure child's needs are met.Collaborate with Lead Clinician to meet agency's Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI)/Quality Assurance (QA) requirements.Periodically reviews risk and behavioral health assessments to determine appropriateness of current safety, individualized service plans.Completes all initial and annual training requirements.Provides crisis intervention as needed.Qualifications
Qualifications:
Must have a master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree plus two years of direct clinical experience or bachelor's degree in social work or other relevant behavioral science plus five years of direct clinical experience working with children and families.Excellent computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Extended Reach, electronic databases.Excellent oral and written communication skills and success working in a culturally and socioeconomically diverse environment with a high level of cultural competence. (bilingual strongly preferred)Must be sensitive to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.Ability to take initiative, work within a team and independently.Must have a personal vehicle, valid Georgia Driver's license, personal auto insurance, and a good driving record.To be considered, applicants must pass a comprehensive background check, including work references.This position requires primary residence within the state of Georgia.
