General Summary

The SAG-AFTRA Health Plan and SAG-Producers Pension Plan (the Plans) provide health and pension benefits to its participants.Pursuant to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and the amended Trust Agreements of the Pension Plan and the Health Plan, The Board of Trustees of the Plans established a comprehensive program for the collection of employer contributions payable to the Trusts on behalf of performers who perform services covered under the various Collective Bargaining Agreements and other applicable Agreements ("Agreements") between Employers and SAG-AFTRA.The Compliance Audit Department (CAD) audits records of Signatory Employer-Parties to the Trusts to determine whether contributions are being paid in compliance with the applicable agreements.

The Compliance Audit Department is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team as a Compliance Auditor. This role requires an ability to rapidly acquire and apply new knowledge and effectively manage audit workload independently to achieve timely completion of deliverables. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of the entertainment industry and/or payroll compliance audits.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Audit Document ReviewReview performer agreements, performer payment information, and other relevant information, and apply this knowledge to the relevant collective bargaining agreement (CBA) to develop an analysis and opinion on reporting accuracy and reasonableness.Prepare audit summaries and billing invoices using accurate contract rates, allocations, ceilings and reporting information.Generate earning reports using our cloud-based application, ThoughtSpot, to create an analysis of reporting history to supplement the documents received from Auditees.Audit Issue Management

Review and analyze audit details and documents within the appropriate timeframe, as dictated by audit difficulty, to present findings based on established precedence, identify time-saving alternative procedures, determine appropriate escalation, and maximize recoveries.Execute on timely communication with Auditees and Union representatives for additional requests of documents and information, as outlined in the procedure manual.Prepare billing invoices, refund worksheets, and adjustment requests, with low to no repeated errors.Record and process audit payments when they are received using the Contributions Management department's processing system.Audit File Presentation

Communicate audit issue in a concise, accurate, and complete manner through either verbal or written presentation (or both) with a self-drafted memo and audit summary support as part of the file presentation materials.Audit File Maintenance

Independently track all audits and accurately record all audit work in CAD system, correctly entering audit information, accurately flagging files, and properly recording electronic notes.Ensure data quality when file is submitted for closure, which includes following procedures to upkeep audit work papers.Collaboration

Maintains good working relationship with Auditees, Union representatives, external auditors, and external counsel to facilitate processes, including, but not limited to disputed matter resolution and audit program alignment.Coordinates with other departments within the organization to improve operational efficiency.Other

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or Accounting.Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.Auditing or contract analyst experience in a multi-employer, Taft-Hartley environment or in the Entertainment Industry.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
