About the Role:
Our Accountant I will be responsible for facilitating Crusoe Energy AP activities including daily auditing, answering questions regarding partner invoices, and assisting the Accounts Receivable team when needed.
This position will start as a temporary role for 90 days, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position based on performance and organizational needs.
A Day In The Life:
Entering transactions from the bank accounts and credit card accountsReconciling weeklyDaily management of the accounts payable emailData entry of bills into CoupaClassifying all bills by entity, region, projectAssigning appropriate approver by vendor or dollar thresholdCommunication with vendors for new account set up, account updates, payment information, W9's, etc.Answering inquiries about payment statusWeekly payables reporting, payment reportsCreation of PO's as requestedManaging approver workflowPotentially small ad-hoc projects as they present themselvesYou Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:
Ambition to grow!Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or current progress towards such a degree preferred, or equivalent experience.3-5 years+ experience in AP/ARFixed-asset & progress payments experienceExperience working in Manufacturing/Construction.Some understanding of joint-ventures and inter-company transactionsSome month-end financial reporting exposure and understandingAbility to work, take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing environmentSoftware and other systems: Intacct Accounting, Coupa, Excel, Google, Gmail, Microsoft Office, Google docs/sheets, Brex.Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes and is intuitive to new technology solutions.Must be able to pass a background checkOur Company values speak to you, resonate with you, make sense to you and how you desire to work
Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the hourly range of $35 - $40 and will be re-evaluated if/when brought on permanently. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
