Summary:ExecuSource is seeking a Tax Director in the Atlanta market. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the top public accounting firms, serving industries such as manufacturing, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, financial services, and professional services.
What you get to do:
Oversee and approve complex tax returns and tax audits.Ensure timely, accurate preparation of all federal and state tax filings in compliance with regulations.Delegate and manage tax research for accuracy and efficiency.Support client meetings and tax planning efforts, especially for larger clients, alongside the Business Assurance team.Act as a resource for tax staff and Business Assurance team on tax issues.Handle client relationships directly when designated by the Partner.Communicate tax developments relevant to the firm's clients.Supervise the tax team, providing training and guidance.Assist the Business Assurance (Audit) Department with larger clients as needed.What you need to succeed:
CPA license required; 8+ years in public accounting with experience in complex tax work.2+ years representing clients with tax authorities and 1+ year supervising tax staff.Bachelor's in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred.40 hours of annual continuing education.Member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs.Proficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or similar software is preferred.Strong client service, communication, and problem-solving skills.What's in it for you:
