The AVP, Finance at Wintrust Life Finance will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights to drive the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions. This individual will work closely with senior management to support decision-making processes, ensure financial goals are met, and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.
What You'll Do
Establish best practices in compiling WLF volume and financial forecastsPrepare monthly, weekly, daily, and ad hoc analysis to help evaluate the business and inform managementDevelop financial reporting including board and management presentationsParticipate in strategic planning discussionsSupervise and coordinate completion of annual budget for WLF divisionKnowledge/Skills/Background/Experience
5-7 years- banking industry preferredBachelor degree in finance or accounting or equivalentExperience in forecasting, and financial reporting to enable the candidate to help inform strategic decision makingStrong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
