Compensation: $16.00 to 16.75 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time - 40 Hours a week

The selected individual will serve the Greater Hall County Area.
You will help change the lives of the individuals you serve by helping them obtain and maintain jobs and careers that they love and enjoy. You will become a trusted confidant and mentor in helping individuals find competitive employment with companies that everyone is familiar with. Our program values individuals’ choices and ideas in becoming employed in job and situations that fit their lifestyles and help them to understand that they can work while receiving benefits such as SSI/SSDI and Medicaid.
You will help people make good decisions about employment opportunities and provide education to your clients and their families, if applicable. You will meet employers in the communities you serve and create meaningful relationships with them to be able to advocate your clients’ skills to your new friends in the employment community.
You will bring out the best in the people you serve and be their biggest cheerleader. You will direct individuals towards employment that is interesting and unique as their personalities and help them understand the advantages and disadvantages of disclosing their health status to employers. You will be a hero to your clients!
Qualifications:
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Sociology or Counseling OR *Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Sociology or Counseling AND one year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience in social services delivery. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with people with severe mental illness, experience providing employment services, and knowledge of the work world is preferred. Ability to work as an effective team player is essential.
A clean MVR is a must. Will be transporting clients in an agency or personal vehicle, as required.
