We're looking for a Mental Health Therapist - Full Service Partnership, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Baldwin Park, California, United States.

As a premier provider dedicated to healing children and young adults, strengthening families, and transforming communities through quality comprehensive services and advocacy, Hillsides is looking for a caring Mental Health Therapist in Baldwin Park, CA. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide mental health services to clients and their families participating in the FSP (Full Service Partnership) Program.

While working with a multidisciplinary team as a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for carrying a caseload of 10-12 FSP clients, depending on the client's acuity level, which includes administrative oversight of the client's files, and timely completion of goals, annuals and OMAs.

With a flexible work schedule, you will gain extensive work experience as a clinician working with children & families. Through our robust training opportunities you will grow your skillset in Evidence Based Practices, Shared Core Practice Model & Trauma Informed Care.

Employee Sign-on Bonus: $4000

Starting Salary Range:$66,560.00 - $75,560.00 per year, Bilingual stipend of $4,000 for application positions

  • Therapist BBS $66,560
  • Therapist BBS plus Bilingual $70,560
  • Therapist BBS, Bilingual, plus Licensed $75,560
What we look for:
  • Knowledge and practice in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to participate in individual clinical supervision with a licensed supervisor and group supervision with peer group.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with intra-agency systems such as DMH, DCFS, Office of Probation, Office of Conservatorship, and other government or private entities who are also invested in the client's wellbeing.
  • Compete timely reporting of all work-related documentation including mileage reimbursement, Outreach and Engagement forms, productivity packets and follow up correspondence to HR regarding proof of car insurance and BBS annual registration.
  • Provide case management and resources to clients such as housing and employment.
  • Ability to work evenings as needed.
  • Available to be on call to respond to crisis 24/7.
  • Other duties as required.

Experience Required for Your Success

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Master's degree in social Welfare or counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong knowledge base of the Recovery Model, crisis intervention, and systems theory.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse clientele & staff.
  • Candidates must be registered and in good standing with the BBS (Board of Behavioral Sciences).
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier. TRAUMA INFORMED CARE (TIC) Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
